ClaimPros operates two distinct privacy surfaces — a public marketing/research site and a tenant-isolated production platform. The protections differ by surface; both are summarized below.
Marketing site
Anonymous analytics via PostHog: page-view counts, referrer, device class. No persistent identifiers without consent. No third-party advertising or retargeting pixels. We do not sell visitor data.
Research surface (judges, offices, calculators)
Calculator inputs are processed in the browser. Nothing about the claimant or attorney is transmitted to our servers from these tools. The directories are read-only public SSA data.
Production platform — claimant data
Claimant intake data and call transcripts are Protected Health Information from first contact. Encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Stored in the tenant-isolated qualified-private database. Audit logs retained for the full HIPAA-required period.
The customer firm is the data controller; ClaimPros is the data processor under the executed BAA. Subprocessors are disclosed in the BAA addendum with 30-day change notice.
Subject rights
Claimants can request access, correction, or deletion of their data via the customer firm (the data controller). For security or compliance disclosures, see /security.
